There was a ground-breaking ceromony for Rabbi Sternbergs Shul, Khal Park Avenue in Airmont (South Monsey) at 13 Algonquin Circle, after having reached their final approvals for the building of their new Beis Medrash. The Shul will be renamed Beis Medrash Mishkan Yosef dedicated by the Rovs father-in-law Reb Berel Ostreicher in memory of his father Alexander ben Yosef Shloima and his father-in-law Yosef ben Yaakov.
The Speakers were Rav Ephrayim Wachsman, Rosh Yeshiva Meor Yitzhok. The Rov, Rav Yitchok Sternberg. Rav Berel Ostreicher, the Rovs Shver. The son of the Skverer Rebbe.
The chairman was Reb Labish Becke,r Executive Director Agudas Yisroel of America and a Mispalel in the Shul.
