On June 14, 2012, The Town of Ramapo Police Dept. in conjunction with the Rockland County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (S.P.C.C.) conducted an alcohol sales compliance check of businesses located within the Town of Ramapo. An undercover agent who is less than 21 years of age, the legal drinking age, attempted to purchase alcohol from various businesses. The following establishments were found to be in compliance:

-Liquorland, 250 Rt 59 Airmont NY
-Iryna Liquors, 298 N. Main St Spring Valley NY
-Wal-Mart, 250 Rt 59 Airmont NY
-CrestHill Liquors, 285 N. Main St Spring Valley NY
-Super Value, 74 Rt 59 Monsey NY
-Bravo, 286 N. Main St Spring Valley NY
-7 Eleven, 2 College Rd Monsey NY
-Stop & Shop 1581 Rt. 202 Pomona NY
-Wine on, 59 421 Rt 59 Monsey NY

The following stores did sell alcohol to the underage undercover:
-Shoprite, 250 Rt 59 Airmont NY. Arrested was Laura Wohl a 48 yr old female of E Railroad Ave in Haverstraw. Wohl was charged with 65-1, a misdemeanor of the ABC law. She is due in Airmont Justice court on July 19th at 5 pm.
-Guzzles 362 N Main St Spring Valley NY. Arrested was Naseer Mohammed a 31 yr old male of Long Island City NY. Mohammed was charged with 65-1, a misdemeanor of the ABC law. He is due in the Town of Ramapo justice court on June 26th at 2:00 pm.
