On 7/21/2012 at about 10:15pm, the Ramapo Police Department received a report of a bicyclist down and unconscious on Scotland Hill Road in the Village of Chestnut Ridge. The responding officer located the injured person and administered first aid until the arrival of Rockland Paramedics and Faist Ambulance Corps. The investigating officers at the scene found no indication that a motor vehicle was involved in this incident.
The victim, a 53 year old Spring Valley resident, was transported to Nyack Hospital, and is believed to be in critical condition at this time.
